Extinction Rebellion is a climate activist group organized with the intent of creating a world that is fit for future generations. Our political establishment has failed to protect its people from pollution and from the mass extinction of species on earth. Scientists tell us that our window to take action on climate change is closing quickly. They tell us that we must act now in order to avoid crossing tipping points and setting positive feedback loops into motion that will cause catastrophic warming regardless of future human intervention. Our demands and our principals reflect this urgency. We must rebel to protect the livelihood of citizens and our natural world, or risk losing everything we cherish.
