From September 7th to November 7th, 2013, a group of artists traveled across Mongolia, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and India documenting the story of the Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava. Our team, which included a filmmaker, photographer, writer, choreographer and scholar, d

ocumented the journey through artistic languages. We are sharing these artistic products on our page as well as on our website- www.triptychjourney.org. In addition to these venues, we are currently working on several post-travel productions, including print materials, film, performance and installations. The goal is to share the magical and profound story of Guru Rinpoche as well as the landscape and people who draw inspiration from his presence.

Re-upping this video excerpt from our 2025 interview with Mike Shanahan. When people ask me what is core theme of Beneath the Bodhi Tree (a Ficus Religiosa), I am quick to answer: Interdependence.

The Buddha realized this core truth 2500 years ago. Fig trees live and illustrate this truth every day.
