Money trouble can hit anyone. When it does, the Massachusetts Laborers' Legal Services Fund has your back.

Eligible members get in-house attorneys for bankruptcy and debt cases: advice and representation, with no attorney fees. Your benefit fund covers it.

The basics:
✔️ MA Laborers need 300 eligible hours to qualify
✔️ Members in ME, NH, and VT need 450 eligible hours
✔️ Up to 3 qualifying cases per year

Know what you’re being billed for and why.

Your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) shows exactly how your medical bill breaks down. It lists what is billed, what is paid by your Health and Welfare benefits, and your patient responsibility. Patient responsibility may include a copay, deductible, and/or co-insurance and should match the bill you receive from the provider. Before you pay a bill, cross-check it against your EOB to make sure the numbers match.

EOBs are:
📫 Mailed in a Fund-branded envelope
💻 Available anytime on your member dashboard
📱 Medical claims also listed in the MyBlue app

Mammograms as part of recommended screenings can help detect breast cancer early so treatment is more likely to be successful. Screening mammograms are covered as part of your preventive care benefits, whether plan A or plan B, at no cost when you see an in-network provider.
