Congratulations to Charles Barrett for winning April’s Brother of the Month!

Charles is an outstanding brother in our chapter, and an exceptional student. Charles was unanimously voted for Brother of the Month for being awarded Junior Mechanical Engineer of the Year.

You can always find Charles around Howe putting in a crazy amount of work and it pays off. Charles is also one of the most reliable brothers when it comes to advice, wisdom, or a good laugh.

Congratulations to Tyler Nathan for winning March’s Brother of the Month!

Tyler is a business major at UVM with plans to go into marketing, which makes sense since he already knows how to sell a crowd. He brings constant musical energy to 440 Pearl. People call him “Young Jerry Garcia” and it fits. He has played in multiple bands during his time here at UVM and shows out for pretty much every house concert. Right now he is playing with Acid Wash and popping up all over campus and Burlington.

Outside of music, Tyler holds the house together more than most. He puts in the time, looks out for the guys, and makes sure things dont fall apart. He is the guy you go to, whether you need real advice or just someone to make you laugh. Its safe to say that this award is well deserved. 💙💛

Congratulations to Nick Preschel for winning February’s Brother of the Month.

Nick is an Environmental Sciences major at UVM, putting in serious work in a research lab. He spends long hours learning techniques, collecting data, and contributing to real projects. Nick wants to build a future in research. He plans to pursue graduate school and keep pushing himself academically and professionally. That kind of long-term focus takes discipline. On top of all that, he competes on the UVM club basketball team as a great teammate.

At the same time, Nick is one of the most loved members of our fraternity. Bringing the kind of casual humor that will have the whole room laughing. He makes normal nights better and stressful weeks lighter. Nick’s smile can light up a room, and he makes a great effort in supporting his brothers in any way he can.

Right now, Nick is abroad in Costa Rica and still finds ways to show up for the chapter. He sends funny and thoughtful messages to the brothers back home. He checks in. He hypes people up. He keeps the group chat alive from another country. We are all proud of Nick for his accomplishments and amazing contributions to Pi Kapp, even while he is away.

He balances ambition with personality. He works hard. He stays connected. He represents the chapter well at UVM and abroad. Nick is Brother of the Month for a reason.
