ANEW Place provides a holistic continuum of services for the homeless, centered in love and dignity. Holistic Support | We believe in valuing the whole person.

ANEW Place is consistently embarking upon new programming to meet the changing needs of Burlington’s homeless. Our hope is to teach skills for long-term change, encourage guests to build self esteem, and connect them in relationship with community members who have a heart to serve. We are guided by the following values:

Love and Dignity | We believe that all people deserve dignity and respect. We provide a diverse, welcoming environment, free of judgment and full of compassion, for those who need it most. We emphasize all areas of wellness including social, mental, physical, spiritual, relational, and occupational to support health and growth. Community Engagement | We believe that thriving people come from a thriving community. We connect guests with our community-wide network of resources, creating continued partnerships for shared growth. Tools for Change | We believe all people can change. We create unique paths for positive, lifelong change and equip each person with the tools to get there.

We'll be at the Burlington Farmers Market this Saturday, October 10, and we'd love to see you there!

United Way of Northwest Vermont and the Burlington Farmers Market are hosting a Connect to Volunteering Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 345 Pine Street. Swing by our tent, say hi, and hear about the work we do at ANEW Place and how volunteers make a real difference for our guests.

We're in great company, too. Age Well, Steps to End Domestic Violence, NAMI Vermont, North End Food Pantry, Intervale Center, Cathedral Square, and King Street Center will all be there with ways to get involved.

Pick up some fall produce, meet a few neighbors doing good work, and maybe find your next volunteer spot. See you Saturday!

A huge thank you to every local business that donated a package, and to everyone who placed a bid, shared a post, gave a donation, or cheered us on. This auction doesn't happen without you.

Winners have been contacted; keep an eye on your email for pickup and redemption details.

We're endlessly grateful for a community that shows up like this. Thank you!
