Thanks to everyone who joined us Friday at our open house new-office-warming! We had a special guest visit Dana Walrath whose new book The Book of Genocides will be released NEXT TUESDAY 8 SEPTEMBER via Harvard University Press
We got a sneak peak at this intense but beautifully done graphic narrative, which covers 10 genocides around the world, created by someone who is herself in a lineage of genocide survivors. Pre-order copies at bookofgenocides ⚫️ com

Come celebrate our move to the Old North End, this Friday from 6-8pm at 12 North St! Meet our Peace & Justice Center staff if you haven't, catch up with us if you have, and help us envision what we can do in this new location! Small snacks will be served. omg and also TEA at Vt Q***r Craft! this weekend, raising funds for Arduna_Team ! We’ll have 3 blends, all from plants locally stewarded: respiratory, nutritive, and relaxing blends. Come by and see us! We’ll have tons of zines too so you can sit and sip your tea with some good reading ✨

Farmer Yousef Abu Rabee speaking about the importance of food sovereignty for Palestinians, as “aid” was air-dropped from planes in 2024. This is the basis of shirts (& a few dresses) we’ll have at Vt Q***r Craft! THIS WEEKEND. “We will plant it, with Allah’s help. We are people who love to eat from the sweat of our own brows.” - Yousef Abu Rabee These are up-cycled & handmade, so each may have their own quirks about’em! We have a variety of sizes, colors, & styles. Find us at Booth 5 (Purple Village) on saturday and Booth “O” on sunday. All funds raised by these shirts plus prints & herbs will go to Yousef’s community who continues his legacy work via Arduna_Team

Prints’ll be available at Q***rAF this weekend, raising funds for farmers in Gaza 🍉 Vermont has such a strong farming community - let’s show up for farmers who perservere despite almost 3 years of genocide & decades of occupation. Money will go to help plant out more farmers’ lands. This print is an updated version of the one available last year, some cute upgrades! Limited quantities of some of last year’s other prints will be available also! Come by Booth 5 on saturday & Booth “O” on sunday to support Arduna_Team at Vt Q***r Craft! ✨🍓🧑‍🌾

Where to find PJC @ Q***rAF! On Saturday well been in Purple Village at Booth 5, next to the Cosmologies in Bloom rest tent ✨🌸 Sunday we’ll be at the cluster of booths by the Dining Tent in Booth “O” AND at the Dining Tent itself from 12:30-2 for an info session on ethnic cleansing in the West Bank. Along w our usual tabling, we’ll have art, herbs, & apparel to raise money for farmers in Gaza Arduna_Team

The rumors are true! The Peace & Justice Center is moving to 12-22 North St! We are so excited to be in a more visible location, in the Old North End, sharing space with amazing organizations like Lab B, with a much bigger and more amenable event space. We can't wait to show you!

While the move is happening, we will have to postpone some events previously scheduled for the PJC, as well as move some to temporary locations. Stay tuned for the location of upcoming events, and stay extra tuned for a new office celebration event as soon as we are settled in!

SUNDAY 16 AUGUST @ Q***r Arts Festival! PJC is grateful to bring this info session to Q***rAF: The West Bank is experiencing unprecedented israeli settler violence backed by the zionist occupation. In January 2026, the shepherding village Ras Ein Al Auja became among the latest Palestinian community to be ethnically cleansed. Two of our Vermont neighbors were in Ras al Ein for the winter when this happened, and are back now to share the story of Ras and surrounding villages of Jericho.

‘From the River’: This part of Palestine lies along the Jordan River, the eastern edge of Palestinian land which then stretches west to the Mediterranean Sea. Despite facing violent annexation by the zionist state, Palestinians remain steadfast until the day Palestine is free.
