Spooky City is almost here!! 🦇🎃👻

This event is a free, family friendly event happening on Saturday, October 31st at 9am (see full schedule below)! Downtown Burlington streets are closed for business trick-or-treating, hayrides, touch-a-truck, coffin races, a Dia de los Mu***os celebration, and more!

Full schedule (subject to change):

9am-5pm: Dia de los Mu***os Celebration in the Loop
9:30-11am: Pumpkin Decorating, Family Pics, Face Painting, Games and Hawgsdogs Food Truck at Bank CMG
9:30am: Free Scooby Doo Spooky Short at Plaza Theater
10am-2pm: Touch-a-Truck at Ace Hardware
10:30am-2pm: Ghostbusters Ectomobile on Pine St.
10:30am-1pm: Historical Burlington Historical Society ~ The History of Downtown Burlington Streets in Wehmhoff Square
10:45am: Kiddie Costume Parade from Wehmoff Square down Pine St
11-Noon: Trick-or-Treating to more than 60 downtown businesses!
Noon-1:30: Coffin Races, Parade, and Crowning Ceremony
11am-1pm: Free Fortune Teller Booth in Wehmhoff Square
11am-1pm: Free Hayrides start & end at Bank CMG
11am-Noon: Angela Puerta on the Loop Stage
11am-Noon: Street Performers on Pine
11am-5pm: B**r Tent with The Runaway
1pm-2pm: Angela Puerta Trio on the Loop Stage (after the coffin races)
1pm-4pm: Sunset Girl at Low Daily B**r Garden
1pm-3pm: Dancing Horses on Pine Street

Kapur has confirmed the second batch of bricks from the City of Burlington, WI downtown project is now available for pickup on a first-come, first-served basis!

They are in the lot near the parking structure (nearest to the corner of chestnut and dodge) and are for the public to take at no cost.

**Only the designated bricks are available for pickup. All other materials on site remain the property of the project and are located on private property. These other materials are not available to the public. Unauthorized removal of these materials could result in criminal charges**

Educators Credit Union is now open at BHS!

Educators Credit Union held the GRAND OPENING of its newest branch inside Burlington High School on Monday. Students and staff can now bank without ever leaving the building! Educators Credit Union has opened a real, fully working branch right inside the BHS Commons.

And the best part? It's staffed by our own students. Two BHS students trained all summer and are now serving their classmates as working professionals. Our Youth Apprenticeship students are also building banking and customer service skills at the Educators branch on Falcon Ridge Drive after school and on Saturday mornings.

Staff and Students may stop by during any lunch period on Monday, Tuesday, or Friday to open an account, make deposits and withdrawals, or check your balance. New account holders will receive BHS-branded gear, including a debit card design chosen by students and staff!

At BHS, we believe strong community partnerships open doors for our students. Partners like Educators Credit Union make opportunities like this possible, giving students real-world experience and skills that prepare them for life after high school.

The BHS branch is open to Burlington High School students and staff only and not accessible to the general public.
