BAHA offers programs from learn-to-skate to competitive travel programs. Our home ice arena is Paquette Arena, located at Leddy Park in the North End of Burlington, with possible home games at Gutterson Field House, located at the University of Vermont.. We are one of the larger organizations in the Vermont State Amateur Hockey Association with over 200 registered participants and an annual operating budget of over $200,000. Mud Season = Controlled Chaos

10 sessions. Countless quick shifts. Weekly adjusted teams. No easy games. Just hockey…(and LOUD)!

This is where players got better without even realizing it—faster decisions, tighter plays, more confidence every time they stepped on the ice.

No stats or game standings. No expectations and little pressure. Just fun competition, adjustability, and repetition.

Respect to every kid who showed up and battled, and to the volunteers who kept it all moving behind the scenes and a huge shoutout to our rink pal Kurt for always going above and beyond and everything he does for this rink in support our youth program.

Simple formula:
Show up. Work hard. Have fun.

We look forward to our final skate this Friday!

Go BAHA!

Sometimes the best stories in youth hockey aren’t about the teams that win all season — they’re about the ones that never stop believing.

This group consistently showed up, worked hard, and supported one another for 4 straight days in Lake Placid, NY, at the CAN/AM Tournament. What followed was something special.

With grit, determination, and a true team-first mindset, the group came together in a way that defines what youth sports are all about. Every shift was fueled by effort, teammates lifting each other up, and a belief that they could do something special.

Game after game, they battled — and suddenly the momentum started building. Four straight wins later, they found themselves raising the championship trophy. A reminder to everyone watching that perseverance, teamwork, and believing in one another can turn any season into an unforgettable success story.

10U T3 VERMONT STATE CHAMPIONS 🏆

What makes this team special isn’t just today’s win — it’s the growth that happened all season long.

From the first practices to the final game, this group committed themselves to getting better every single moment on the ice. Learning the game. Supporting teammates. Building confidence every shift and every game..

This championship is a true reflection of hard work, solid coaching, perseverance, and young players discovering what they’re capable of TOGETHER.

A season of learning.A season of growth.A season that ended with something unforgettable.

Thanks to Coach Alec, Luke, Jason, Eric for their patience and approach with these kids. A special thanks to our team parents for their support and commitment. And to our scheduler Darren, for keeping things organized and competitive all season long. Setting us up with games and tournaments that would push us to learn how to play and work better as a team. And to Irene for always keeping us informed and up to date with the plan.

It takes a tribe to get this far….

Finally, to the 10U T3 team .hockey , you battled us all year long from our very first game of the year. We couldn’t ask for better competition. You are all very lucky to have such a great program and we look forward to more hockey next season!

12U T4 VERMONT STATE CHAMPIONS🏆

Today this team showed what youth hockey is all about. Discipline. Commitment. Heart.

Every shift, every period, these players played with relentless effort and an undeniable will to fight and win. Every opportunity on the ice was earned through hard work and trust.

It was textbook…

Three periods of complete team hockey.

Proud of this group of kiddos, their coaches, and the commitment it took all season to reach this moment. 🥅

A major shout out to Coach Dustin, Adam and Robin for their support over the last 5 months. The guidance, discipline and leadership is why we are who we are as a team today.

And to for playing a competitive, fun, clean, but aggressive game. You all showed up to play today and it pushed us to work even harder. We look forward to next season.

As always, to .hockey for supporting youth hockey here in Vermont!
