Readercon

Readercon An annual conference on imaginative literature supporting the notion that thinking can be fun.

A typical Readercon features over 150 writers, editors, publishers, and critics, attracting prominent figures from around the world. They are joined by some 500 of their most passionate and articulate readers for a long weekend of intense conversation.

Official Statement from Safety at Readercon:

There have been two confirmed cases of COVID reported by attendees. The cases are associated.

One person reports being masked indoors and unmasked outdoors. They attended sessions while masked on Friday and Saturday. While unmasked, they attended the ad hoc Dune panel on the patio on Saturday and spent time in the outdoor seating area near the ballroom entrance.

The second person was on 3 panels while unmasked, but otherwise was masked indoors but unmasked outdoors:
