October Meeting Report
The Plainview 4-H Meeting was held at 5pm on October 9, 2022 at the KCC Extension Office. There were 13 members in attendance, with 6 parents, 1 leader and 1 guest.
President Thomas Schaal called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ryker Cody. The 4-H pledge was led by Kylla Robinson.
We welcomed the Martin family to the club. In the absence of Secretary, Ela Rogers, Lily McClellan read the minutes from the last meeting. Treasurer Ben Duree gave the Treasurer’s Report.
We did not have a Reporter’s Report because we had to vote for a new reporter. Kane Cody gave the leader’s report. There was nothing to report from the committees. The election for Reporter was held with Savannah Martin and Samantha Robinson as candidates. Savannah was voted in.
We swore in the new officers that were elected at the September meeting. Our next meeting will be held November 13th, 2022 at the KCC Extension Office.
At the close of the meeting, Ben Duree gave a fun demonstration on how to do stop motion animation for filmmaking. We also got to see the film he made that placed first at state fair.
We enjoyed treats that were brought by the Duree and Robinson families.
