Hello Burlington School Community,

In March 2024 our city will elect a new mayor!

Because many city-wide issues affect families and schools, Burlington’s Parent-Teacher Organizations (PTOs) are hosting a Mayoral Forum with candidates Emma Mulvaney-Stanak (Progressive) and Joan Shannon (Democrat).



The event will take place on Wednesday, January 17 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Hunt Middle School Library and on YouTube Town Meeting TV. Childcare will be provided and kids are also welcome to attend.

To make sure the candidates talk about issues most pressing to our school communities, please submit your question/s in advance using this Google Form. The form will be open until January 10. Parent moderators, Buddy Singh (Champlain Elementary) and Erin Malone (Sustainability Academy), value your input so please send in your questions!

We hope you will join us on the 17th!

EMS ENGAGE PTO meets the second Tuesday of the month in the library from 620-730. Come join us! Pizza and drinks provided. Plus it’s just a cool bunch of people volunteering for EMS!

The Edmunds Engage PTO will meet in person in the library and by zoom on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
The first meeting will be Tuesday Sept. 12.
We will post the zoom link a few days before the meeting. Hope to see you there!
