Therefore, the mission of MCSS is to help people in New England who are in dire need.

As-Salamu Alaikum,

MCSS, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is accepting Zakat al-Fitr.

Our goal is to distribute it to deserving families and individuals, after completing our vetting process, before the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, so they can share in the joy of Eid.

The Prophet SAW said that Zakat al-Fitr is due on every Muslim — free or enslaved, male or female, young or old (Bukhari).

Zakat al-Fitr amount: $15 per person. Please remember to include each member of your household.

Please join us *Saturday, December 20th* to help deliver groceries to families in need. This month, MCSS will be serving over 90 families with food boxes.

We are urgently looking for drivers, especially to help the elderly, disabled, and families without transportation. Routes are flexible, and you can choose how many deliveries you’re comfortable with. A car is required; GPS is helpful.
