Celebrating 17 years of Arts Integration!
As we look back on another incredible school year, we are filled with gratitude for our dedicated educators. Teaching here means more than guiding young minds through math, reading, writing, and social-emotional skills—it means masterfully weaving the arts into daily instruction. It requires immense flexibility, deep collaboration, creative thinking, and rigorous planning. Our teachers truly do it all!
The long-term impact of this dedication speaks for itself. We recently looked at the data of local high school students achieving major milestones, and the lasting influence of an arts-integrated elementary education is undeniable:
Musical Excellence: Out of 11 high school students selected for the VT All-State Music Festival, nearly half are alumni of our school!
Student Journalism: 30% of the high school's student newspaper staff got their start right here in our classrooms.
Leadership Roles: Half of the students currently serving in major high school leadership positions (including student representatives and advisory leaders) are our proud alumni.
