Pantry week starts October 18. We'll be packing dry goods bags Sunday and Monday mornings 8:00 to 12:00. A variety of tasks needed by many hands, so please join us for as long or as little as you can. Friday October 23 volunteers arrive between 7:00 and 11:30 to help set up, clean up, pack produce boxes, break down cardboard, bag potatoes and more. Together we're making a difference. Grateful!

Extraordinary! These past few days have shown again the wonderful spirit of community that's present in Burlington, Maine. On Thursday Good Shepherd Food Bank delivered a truck load of great produce, eggs and dry goods. It was tucked away by our great volunteers and made ready for Friday distribution. Again volunteers worked 5-6 hours filling boxes and loading cars for nearly 500 households. Saturday brought double activities with free food tables, Burlington Fall Festival events planned by the Burlington General Store and a successful "BUY by Donation" garage sale for the Burlington Food Pantry ! Thank you to many for the donation of goods and dollars. Saturday ends with fireworks near the 4 corners in town. Thank you all !
