IAM Local 1781 Hosts First Annual Richie Johnsen Charity Golf Tournament Benefiting Guide Dogs of America / Tender Loving Canines!
IAM Local 1781 proudly hosted its First Annual Richie Johnsen Charity Golf Tournament, bringing together IAM brothers and sisters from across the system for a great day of golf, fellowship, and fundraising in support of Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines GDA / TLC.
The tournament was especially meaningful as Richie Johnsen, IAM General Vice President of the Air Transport Territory, is also a proud member of Local 1781.
For years, the IAM and Guide Dogs of America have shared a special partnership built on giving back and changing lives. GDA / TLC provides expertly trained service dogs to individuals who are blind or visually impaired, veterans living with PTSD or traumatic brain injuries, children with autism, and others who can benefit from the independence and companionship these incredible dogs provide.
What makes this organization so special is that these life changing service dogs are provided at no cost to recipients. That mission is made possible through the generosity of DONORS, dedicated volunteers, and supporters, including IAM members who continue to step up for this incredible cause.
