Warm greetings from the Burlingame High School Alumni Association! We hope this message finds you well and full of fond memories of your time at Burlingame High School. As an esteemed alumnus/alumna, we would like to extend an invitation for you to join our Alumni Association Board.
The Burlingame High School Alumni Association plays a vital role in maintaining the school's rich traditions, fostering strong connections between alumni, and supporting current students. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill the positions of Treasurer and Director on our Board.
The Treasurer position entails overseeing the financial aspects of our association, ensuring transparency, and maintaining accurate records. Your expertise in financial management would greatly contribute to our mission of effectively utilizing resources to benefit the alumni community and current students.
As a Director, you would have the opportunity to actively contribute to our monthly meetings, held during the school year from September through May. These meetings serve as a platform for collaborative decision-making and planning initiatives to enhance alumni engagement and support the school.
Our Alumni Association is proud to organize a variety of events and activities throughout the year. We host recognition events to honor our Athletic and Distinguished Alumni for the Hall of Fame, as well as celebrate exceptional Coaches and Teachers. Additionally, we organize sporting events such as Golf, Baseball, and Bocce ball tournaments. We are always open to new and exciting ideas to further engage our alumni community.
Currently, our dedicated team consists of 10 Board of Directors and 6 Board members who are passionate about upholding the legacy of Burlingame High School. The Director positions typically involve a commitment of 1 to 3 years, while Board members are welcome to participate without a specific commitment, as long as they bring their enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
