With the rescheduling of the Horsepower on the Bricks Car Show, our 250 Years of Freedom Community Photo will also be moved to Saturday, June 27.

We still hope you’ll join us as we come together to celebrate America’s 250th birthday and create a special photo showcasing our community pride. More details on the photo time will be shared as we get closer to the event.

Well folks, the darn weather has been pretty adamant that it wants to rain tomorrow, so Mother Nature wins this round. 🌧️

Yes, we know it’s only a chance of rain, but it’s enough of a chance that many car owners aren’t willing to bring out their pride and joys and risk getting caught in bad weather—and honestly, we can’t blame them.

After a lot of discussion, we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule Horsepower on the Bricks to Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

We did our best to look at other events and car shows happening in the area because the last thing we wanted to do was steal anyone else’s thunder. If we overlooked something, please accept our apologies.

The good news? This gives us a couple more weeks to shine up the chrome, finish those last-minute projects, and pray that Mother Nature finds somewhere else to be that day. ☀️🚗

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see everyone lining the bricks on June 27 for an even bigger and better show!

🚗 Ok car owners, we need your honest opinion!

The forecast for Saturday is looking better, and the rain chances keep dropping. However, there’s still a possibility of thunderstorms developing later in the day.

We’ve put a lot of time, effort, and money into making Horsepower on the Bricks a great event, and we want to make the best decision for everyone involved. We’re struggling with whether to stay the course for Saturday or cancel and reschedule to ensure a better turnout.

We know many of you have invested countless hours (and dollars!) into your vehicles, and we completely understand not wanting to risk them if the weather turns bad.

So tell us… if you were in our shoes, what would you do? Keep it on Saturday or reschedule? We truly value your input and want to hear from the people who make this show possible.

Due to Round 2 with Mother Nature, tonight’s Chamber meeting has been canceled. 🌩️

We will reschedule and meet next Wednesday at our regular meeting time of 7:00 PM.

Only 5 days until Horsepower on the Bricks takes over downtown Burlingame!

In just a few days, our historic brick street will be lined with classic cars, hot rods, trucks, vendors, great food, raffle prizes, silent auction items, and some pretty awesome trophies.

Now all we need is for everyone to cross their fingers, cross their toes, say a little prayer, do a weather dance, sacrifice a donut to the weather gods… whatever it takes to get us some sunshine! ☀️🤣

As America prepares to celebrate its 250th Anniversary, we’re inviting the community to be part of a special photo opportunity during Horsepower on the Bricks!

We’re going to gather on our historic brick Main Street and form a giant “250” with people. Then we’ll capture the moment from above with a drone to create a one-of-a-kind community photo celebrating 250 years of American independence.

Whether you’re bringing a car to the show, shopping with vendors, or just stopping by for the day, we need YOU to help fill in the numbers!
