A Fun Fall Afternoon at Cook Family Pumpkins!🎃

Last week, our Teen Hope crew had the opportunity to visit Cook Family Pumpkins for an afternoon of pumpkins, raspberry picking, and fall fun! 🧡

Our teens had a blast looking through the selection of pumpkins to find just the right one to take home! 🎃 They also got to pick fresh raspberries, and for many of them, it was their very first time seeing a raspberry bush, let alone picking berries right off of one! ❤️

One teen even said, “I always wondered why raspberries had that hole in them!” 😂 It’s little moments like these that remind us how much there is to discover through new experiences!

There were even some adorable kittens that caught quite a few of our teens’ attention! 🐱💕

We loved watching our teens try something new and make memories together. 💙

A huge THANK YOU to Cook Family Pumpkins for inviting us out and giving our teens such a wonderful fall experience! We’re so grateful for opportunities like these! 🎃🍁

🔨🧰 Life Lab: The $10 Toolkit! 🧰🔧

Yesterday's Life Lab was all about learning some practical, hands-on skills! 💪

Our teens learned the basics of using everyday tools, including hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, and tape measures. They didn't just learn what each tool was for—they got to put their new knowledge to work and try them out for themselves! 🔩🪛

We were so proud of how well they did! Everyone jumped in, gave it a try, and showed just how capable they are of learning something new. It was so much fun watching them learn and build their confidence, even if the sound of all that hammering got a little loud! 😂🔨

We also had some wonderful volunteer help! We welcomed a new volunteer, Vanessa, and were excited to have Gretchen joining us again this school year.

A special THANK YOU to Al's Pizza for donating tools and supplies to help make this activity possible, and to Vanessa for helping coordinate those donations! 🧰❤️

We are so grateful for the people and businesses who give their time and resources to help our teens learn valuable life skills. These are the kinds of lessons that build confidence, independence, and skills they'll carry with them into the future! 💙

💦☀️ Throwback Thursday: Back-to-School Bash! ☀️💦

We're throwing it back to one of our favorite ways to kick off the school year! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to Lynn and Susan Steadman for welcoming our Teen Hope crew back for our annual Back-to-School Bash! 🌊 This was our third year celebrating with a trip to Steadman's, and it has quickly become one of our favorite traditions!

We brought 23 teens, and they had an absolute blast! They spent the evening taking turns on the water slides, putting each other in "inner tube prison," catching dragonflies, surveying each other from the tower, and playing on the swings and trampoline. 😂🛟

Of course, no Steadman's trip would be complete without our traditional fried chicken dinner! 🍗 And when it was finally time to head home, the fun continued with van karaoke all the way back! 🎤🎶

Even weeks later, we've had so many teens bring up how much fun they had that evening! It's moments like these that remind us how special these experiences are and how much the memories stick with them. 💙

Thank you, Steadman's, for welcoming Teen Hope back year after year and making this tradition so special for our teens! We appreciate you! 🌺

🌺 What an incredible night! 🌺

Our Teen Hope Aloha Carnival was a HUGE success, with nearly 400 people coming out to join us! 🎉

But what we are most proud of is our teens. 💙 They stepped up, worked hard, ran the games and activities, helped families, worked together, and showed our community exactly what they are capable of. Watching them take ownership of this event and seeing their hard work come together was pretty amazing.

We also cannot say enough about the people who showed up to help us. This year, we had an outstanding amount of volunteer support, and it made such a difference. From our volunteers and staff to our sponsors, donors, families, and everyone who jumped in wherever they were needed—thank you. We truly could not put on an event like this without people who believe in Teen Hope and are willing to show up for our teens.

And to everyone who came to the carnival, played the games, ate with us, supported our Teen Store, bought raffle tickets, and cheered our teens on—thank you for making the night so special.

We are incredibly proud of our teens and incredibly grateful for the community that continues to stand behind them. 💙

Until next year… Aloha! 🌺🌴
