A great read about how our First Responders step up to the challenge every day!

Great job Cleburne Fire Department!

Babysitting isn't typically part of a firefighter's job description, but these Cleburne firefighters were happy to step up! 🚒

When a babysitter experienced a medical emergency last week while caring for two 7-month-old twins, the Cleburne Fire Department responded to assist.

While crew members provided medical attention to the babysitter, two firefighters, who are both dads themselves, put their parenting skills to good use by keeping the babies safe, comfortable and cared for until their mother arrived back home. They even helped gather the babies' belongings and get them safely into the car!

Their kindness helped make a frightening situation a little easier for the family.

We're proud of our Cleburne firefighters for showing that serving the community sometimes means going beyond the job description. ❤️

🚨 TEAM TUESDAY | Meet the Chisholm Trail 100 Club Team! 🚨

This week's spotlight shines on Brett Morrison, a dedicated leader whose passion for supporting First Responders is matched by his commitment to serving our community!

🚗 From Volunteer to Vice President!

Brett's journey with the Chisholm Trail 100 Club began in 2018 when he became a sponsor and an exhibitor for the the annual Hot Rods & Heroes Motor Festival; in 2021 he began volunteering on event day and in 2022 he joined the CT100's Car Show Committee. His enthusiasm, leadership, and willingness to serve quickly made an impact!

In 2025, Brett stepped up to serve as Chairman of the Hot Rods & Heroes Motor Festival Committee, taking on the responsibility of leading one of the Club's signature community events. That same year, he was elected to the CT100's Board of Directors.

Today, Brett serves as the Club's 2026–2027 Vice President, demonstrating how a heart for service and a willingness to get involved can grow into meaningful leadership!

💼 Business Leadership & Experience

As the owner of Castrol Premium L**e Express, Brett brings an entrepreneurial spirit and a wealth of business experience to the CT100 Board. His professional career includes senior executive leadership roles with both domestic and international high-tech and consumer electronics organizations.

His strategic insight, business expertise, and commitment to excellence are tremendous assets to the Club!

For Brett, supporting First Responders goes far beyond his service on the Board. His appreciation for the men and women who protect our communities is proudly displayed every day at his business, where he flies the First Responder flags as a visible tribute to their service and sacrifice.

Brett's dedication to the CT100 mission is truly a family affair! His wife, Sheri, also serves on the Hot Rods & Heroes Motor Festival Committee. Together, they contribute their time, talents, and energy to making this annual event a success!

Less than 24 hours to the 12th Annual Hot Rods & Heroes Motor Festival!

In addition to a field of 150+ AWESOME exhibitor vehicles, there will also be LIVE MUSIC 🎶 from the Seven 6 Band, a Sasquatch Scavender Hunt, facepainting and balloon art from Emergency Support Service personnel, Junior firefighter fun with the Cresson Volunteer Fire Department, food from La Bandida Street Fare, MiracleAde LLC, Miner's Creek Coffee Company and more; and merchandise vendors by Mullet Man Made , Babes Trucker Hats, Treat Me Right Cakery & Catering, Blake Jones Agency, Camp Gladiator-Burleson and many more!

All proceeds benefit the Chisholm Trail 100 Club’s mission to “Stand in the gap for our First Responders and their families in times of tragedy”…a $10/carload donation is requested for spectators.
