Graceview Baptist Church

Graceview Baptist Church We welcome you to join us at Graceview! We have two Sunday morning gatherings and offer GV Kids (nursery-5th grade) during each service at 9AM & 10:30AM.

We are Graceview Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas. We are a multi-generational church with people in all stages of life gathering weekly to worship Jesus and live out our faith. We would love for you to join us anytime. We believe the local church is vital in God’s plan for the world and His people. Graceview Baptist Church exists to disciple God's people for the advancement of the gospel of Jesu

s Christ. We accomplish this by reaching people in our surrounding communities and around the world through intentional living that is biblical, relational, and missional. Graceview creates opportunities to grow deeper with God, to grow stronger in community, and to grow in God’s grace as we reach out to others. Our worship is always Christ-centered, deliberately thoughtful, and Bible-based. We express our worship corporately each week in our Sunday morning gatherings. Beyond Sunday mornings, we encourage the church to connect in small groups and in community, where we live out our worship, growing and serving together, and encouraging one another. We welcome you to join us in pursuit of a life through faith in Christ, for the glory of God. Join us this Sunday. We have three morning gatherings and offer children's ministries and nursery at 9:00am and 10:30am. BIBLICAL. RELATIONAL. MISSIONAL. At Graceview you will often hear or see the words Biblical, Relational, and Missional. These words can mean different things to different people but as we understand them, they are at the core of our who we are. Biblical. Our standard is the Word of God. Everything we do is built upon this foundation. We preach biblically with expositional preaching, we sing biblically with songs that align to scripture, we promote biblical discipleship for our kids and students, we have a biblical church structure with elders and deacons, and we hold to a strong biblical statement of faith. Relational. We believe that God has called the local church into community — a relational community that shares common beliefs and values. Graceview is a community where discipleship and accountability are understood as being an integral part of church community; where taking and giving are equally practiced; where members serve one another both intentionally and incidentally, through personal ministry and as God brings unique opportunities our way. We believe church community is a covenant relationship where covenant members not only say, “I’m In!” but they say “I’m ALL In!”

Missional. Missional is about action; it’s where the rubber meets the road. We believe every Christian has been charged with sharing the gospel in their spheres of influence. That’s why Graceview isn’t a program-driven church where members are encouraged to just bring friends to hear the gospel, but instead we encourage members to “Go and Share!” Being missional happens on both a local level and a global level. Being missional locally means looking for opportunities to share the gospel with friends and neighbors. Being missional globally means praying, giving, and going on mission trips to share the gospel around the world. We believe God hasn’t called us to do local or global missions, but both!

God’s Presence, Our Belief

In Acts 17:22-34 (https://ref.ly/logosref/BibleESV.Ac17.22-34) the apostle Paul proclaimed the true and living God to the people of Athens who worshipped many gods. There are many religions that worship false gods and images of God’s creation rather than God Himself. God’s law, given to Moses and the Israelites, prohibits the making graven images for worship (Deut. 5:8) because God is the creator of all things and He alone is to be worshipped.

Thank you to everyone that came out to A Living Nativity this year! Feel free to share and/or tag yourself, your family, or your friends.

We are so grateful for our team captains and volunteers that served so faithfully during A Living Nativity. There are so many volunteers that worked many hours behind the scenes to make sure A Living Nativity was a success. We appreciate Tom Catron who has coordinated this ministry for 9 years.

This year a GV member paid for David Sawyer to use his amazing talents to draw caricatures for those that attended A Living Nativity.

Our hope is that A Living Nativity allowed you see for the first time or possibly remind you of the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus! Merry Christmas!!!

A Gospel Liturgy | Luke 2:8-20

God’s Message of a Savior, Our Praise

A certified letter requires a signature to be delivered and to let the sender know it has been received. When Jesus was born God sent a messenger to certify that the world knew He was born. Word spread from the shepherds on that very night and the good news is still spreading today, in hope that many who hear it will acknowledge the message that Jesus is Lord, by faith in Him as their Savior.

A Gospel Liturgy | John 3:16-17

God’s Love, Our Salvation

John 3:16-17 reveals God’s plan of salvation from the beginning of time. Jesus came into the world and was born of the flesh so that in the flesh He could pay the ransom for our sin. Jesus died on the cross, but His life was not extinguished by any earthly power, for it was the very plan of God that Jesus would suffer for our sin, so that through faith in Him we might be saved.
