In 2000, Leanna Brewer traveled with her husband, Troy to Uganda, East Africa. In that moment I knew I had to do something. Meeting Collin made the crisis real".

There, she met 10-year-old Colin who took them by the hand and led them to his "home" in the alley. Leanna had heard about the countless children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic and decades of war that ravaged countries around the world. Leanna reflects, "When Colin showed me the pallet in the alley where he lived and told me through tears that he was hungry, it made the orphan crisis real. She dete

rmined to do something... thus, SPARK was born. Those who have joined in the mission have discovered that together we can Serve. Protect. And. Raise. Kids around the world. 🇺🇬 Praying for Uganda 🇺🇬

Father God,

We come before You with grateful hearts, knowing that our steps are ordered by You. Even when plans change and doors seem to pause, we trust that Your timing is perfect and Your purposes remain unchanged.

We surrender our expectations to You. We surrender our outcomes to you. Thank You for reminding us that delays are not denials and that You are working behind the scenes in ways we cannot yet see.

We pray for the people of Uganda, for the communities we long to serve, and for every connection You are preparing in advance. Bless the nation with peace, provision, health, and hope. Strengthen the churches, leaders, families, and children throughout the land.

Lord, guide our next steps and keep our hearts aligned with Your will. May we walk forward with faith, trusting that when the time is right, You will make every path clear.

This Uganda mission trip is going to be the BEST one yet!! 🇺🇬❤️✨

We’ve done so much planning, preparing, and praying — but this time, we’re also making room for pure FUN!! From laughter with the kids to unforgettable moments together, our hearts are already so expectant for all God is going to do.

There is nothing like Uganda… the joy, the love, the people, the purpose. We cannot wait to pour out, serve big, love well, and make memories that will last forever. 🙌🌍

Seeing Pastor Darrell loving on families in Uganda is such a beautiful reminder that the love of Jesus knows no borders, no language, and no distance. In every hug, every smile, and every moment shared, we see the heart of God at work.

Happy Birthday to my amazing brother, Darrell Knight — our one and only Mr. Icecream! 🍦🎉

What a joy it is to celebrate you today. I thank God so deeply for your life, your heart, your laughter, and the incredible love you carry everywhere you go. There is truly no one else like you. You bring light into every room, kindness into every conversation, and joy into every mission field we step onto together.

Some of my favorite memories in life are the adventures we’ve shared serving people all over the world. From long travel days to unforgettable ministry moments, through laughter, prayer, miracles, and ice cream stops along the way — every journey has been sweeter because I got to do it with my brother.

You have such a beautiful servant’s heart, and I’m endlessly proud of the man of God you are. Thank you for being faithful, generous, fun, compassionate, and always willing to say “yes” to the call of God. The world is better because you’re in it.
