Center for ASD Mission: To deliver lifelong support for the well-being of the special needs community. We now have three major programs to turn these dreams into reality.

Our organization was founded in March of 2009 to assist those with Autism and other special needs, as well as their families, both emotionally and financially. Since then, our grass roots organization has helped over 100 families and that number is rapidly growing. We firmly believe to become successful, children with special needs learn and grow more with experience. For this reason we strive to

find real world situations and opportunities for them to take part in that will lead to strong foundations for a successful life. The X-CEL PROGRAM, an alternative to homeschool and a educational enrichment program, focuses on school age participants. This program focuses on functional academies, social skills, coping, team work and so much more. THRIVE, our Friday night out program, provides emotional support for families by bringing them together in a safe environment where their participants interact and can be accepted. A Parent Support Group is a vital part of what we do because it allows parents to share, life, cry and refuel until next time. REACH is the program that fills the gap for those adults who have aged out school. The Center not only provides a much needed respite for the families but a chance for these adults to test and expand their boundaries, to be a part of the world around them

Tori — you are the heartbeat behind every family event at Center for ASD. The one who thinks of every detail, every family, every moment before anyone else even knew there was a detail to think about.

This community is better because YOU are in it. We love you so much. 💙

Feel Good Friday ✨💙
This one is for our parents.
Being a special needs parent is one of the most beautiful and most demanding journeys there is.
And sometimes — you just need a day that’s for YOU. Earlier this month, our PCA families came together for a Charcuterie get together — good food, warm conversation, and a room full of people who truly understand the journey.

A huge thank you to for supporting this special event and helping us pour into the parents who pour into everything.
We are so grateful for you.

May is National Water Safety Month 💧💙

At our last Parent Thrive, we wanted to make sure our families felt equipped and informed heading into summer — especially when it comes to water safety for individuals with special needs.

We were so grateful to welcome Cactus Hope Survival Swim and Bonds Swimming , who came out to answer questions, share resources, and have real conversations with our parents.

Because our families deserve more than just a program — they deserve a community that shows up for them in every season of life.

Thank you to everyone who came out and to our incredible guests for making this such a meaningful evening. 💙

This week, our main focus is getting our XCEL classrooms ready to welcome all of our summer campers! From organizing activities and preparing supplies to transforming classrooms into fun, engaging spaces, our team is hard at work making sure everything is ready for an amazing summer ahead. 🎨📚🧩

We are so excited to kick off the first week of camp NEXT MONDAY and cannot wait to make memories, learn new things, and have lots of fun together! 💙

Graduation Day recap. 🎓💙

Thursday was one of those days we will never forget.

Watching our kids — from our littlest learners to our graduating seniors — celebrated, recognized, and cheered on by the people who love them most. That’s what this community is all about.

To Lillie and Cayden — we meant every word. Watching you walk across that stage was everything. 💙

To every student who received an award — you worked hard. You showed up. And you deserve every single moment of this celebration. 🌟

To the families, staff, and everyone who showed up Thursday — thank you for making this day as special as it was.

These are the moments we do this for. 💙

We are different on purpose. And days like Thursday are exactly why.

Field Day is officially in the books — and what a way to wrap up the school year! 🎉💙

We had the best time together, and we are so grateful for every smile, every laugh, and every moment that made the day so special.

We also want to give a huge, heartfelt thank you to Leadership Burleson with for coming out to join us and help with the games. Your presence, your energy, and your support for our community means more than words can say. We are so blessed to have people like you right here in our backyard. 🤝

Today, our REACH and XCEL participants are celebrating Field Day — a day full of laughter, teamwork, games, and memories made together. ☀️🏅

And with very mixed emotions, tomorrow we celebrate something even bigger… our XCEL Award & Graduation Ceremony. 🎓✨ As we wrap up another incredible academic year, we are reminded just how meaningful every milestone, achievement, and moment of growth truly is.

That’s what makes XCEL so unique.
