Tippecanoe Valley LifeWise held its first Evening of Impact on Monday, May 11th, at the Akron Community Center. We had an excellent turnout, delicious desserts, great testimonies by the kids, and we sensed much excitement and passion for the future.

These are photos from our LifeWise fundraiser today at the Akron Community Center. I took additional photos that are strangely missing. If my team sends more, I will post them. Vendors were set up throughout the building. We were the only group selling meals. We raised $564! We'll be back again in October. Thanks to the facility hosts who made this possible.

I have submitted several strong grant requests and have often received a "no." We have never received a grant without making a request. We understand there is an anonymous donor/ advisor(s) we can thank through the foundation, and we will do so most appreciatively.

Here are photos of our new LifeWise bus. Unfortunately, the sun was so bright that I couldn't tell I had clipped off part of the front on the side view. I'll add the photo later. We will shortly celebrate the donors who have not requested anonymity. Special thanks to Terry and Brenda Smith, who worked especially hard to raise the funds. It's a great bus, and can officially carry 72. Funds have also been donated to have the bus painted in the official LifeWise color and to apply the official LifeWise decals. Praise the Lord!

Akron LifeWise held a Meet-and-Greet with LifeWise kids and their families on Saturday, March 21. A great time was had by all.

We held our Akron Luncheon Meet-and-Greet at Akron UMC today. We had a great turnout and a wonderful time meeting parents and other family members.
