We gave Jessica Ann's Book Club awards to students in each grade at Richlands Elementary School this past week. We gave the award to students who have shown an extra interest in reading and books like Jessica 💚

The story behind this shirt. Two days before Jessica got sick , she texted me and asked what size t-shirt I wore. 🙂
A couple of weeks after she passed away, a lady who owns a t-shirt printing shop brought this shirt to school to give to me. Imagine how I felt when I got this shirt. Just, unbelievably bittersweet 💚

When we first started the book club, our goal was to give every student at Richlands Elementary School a book. Today we reached that goal by finishing up with Prek and Kindergarten.
