We’ve been named Best Farmers Market in South Dakota three years running, and now we’re ready to see how far our little market can go!

🗳️ Help the Burke Area Farmers Market make its mark in the Midwest in the 2026 America’s Farmers Market Celebration!

Contest runs through September 30.

Since 2012, we’ve been growing more than healthy food. We’ve been growing families, friendships, connections, and community, one Thursday evening at a time.

They’ll be on hand with information and opportunities for women involved in agriculture and conservation to grow networks, expand opportunities, and build collaboration.

First Aid on the Farm

Tripp County Courthouse Community Room

This event is open to anyone and will feature Katie Hammond, The Dairy Wife, presenting via Zoom. Katie shares her Farm First Aid message with farm and ranch communities across the country.

First Aid on the Farm is sponsored by the SD Corn Utilization Council and the SD CattleWomen.

💚 September is here, and we’re kicking off the final month of the 2026 season at the Burke Area Farmers Market!

Join us Thursday, September 3, from 5:30–7pm at Burke City Park for a market night with something for everyone.

🌮 Burke Riding Club will be serving up Cowboy Quesadillas with all the fixings.

📚 Burke Public Library will have a fun activity for the kids.

🌾 Women's Ag Network will be on hand with information for women in agriculture and conservation to grow networks, expand opportunities, and build collaboration.

And of course, our vendors will be ready with all the fresh, homemade and handmade goodness you’ve come to love.
