The Burke Area Farmers Market is dreaming ahead to the 2026 season, and we’d love for you to dream with us.

Whether you grow it, bake it, raise it, make it, or create it, our market is built on the passion, care, and stories of our vendors. As we plan for the year ahead, we’re inviting returning and prospective vendors to share not just what you sell, but what you envision.

What ideas are taking root this winter?

This Giving Tuesday, the Burke Area Farmers Market invites you to partner with us in giving back. While every donation to the BAFM is always valued and appreciated, there are moments when the needs of our neighbors call a little louder. This is one of those moments.

Right now, as budgets tighten and demand grows, local food assistance programs are working harder than ever to serve our neighbors. This season, we respectfully ask that your generosity be directed to the following organizations and programs:

💚 Gregory Food Bank
💚 Winner Food Pantry
💚 Burke Community Meals
💚 Feeding South Dakota
💚 Backpack and Lunch Programs at schools in Burke, Bonesteel, Gregory, Colome, and Winner

We will discuss the totally awesome 2025 season, and our vision for next year. We happily hope anyone who enjoys any part of the market will join us!

💚 The 2025 season of the Burke Area Farmers Market has officially wrapped up, and we are overflowing with gratitude!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible vendors who show up week after week with the very best homegrown, handcrafted, and homemade goods. Your hard work and dedication bring so much beauty, nourishment, and joy to our community.

THANK YOU to our volunteers, whose behind-the-scenes efforts make the market run smoothly and create the welcoming atmosphere we all love.

And most of all, THANK YOU to our customers and supporters. You are the heartbeat of the market. Your visits, your conversations, your purchases, and your encouragement make all of this possible. Because of you, 2025 was our biggest season yet!

We’re proud of the community we’ve built together, one filled with kindness, connection, and support for local makers and growers.

While we’ll be a little quieter during the off-season, you’ll still see us pop up...whether it’s for Day of Giving, celebrating our vendors’ other ventures, or sharing what’s new in our world.
