Wrenn and Victoria Wilhelmsen made homemade Valentine’s cards for shut-in Veteran’s! The auxiliary ladies made plates with goodies and included the Valentine’s! Great teamwork ladies! Happy Valentine’s Day to all and a special thank you to the Veteran’s for their service! ❤️

Burke 3rd graders helped make coloring cutouts for cards for the Auxiliary and Youth Group! They helped color and Wrenn and Victoria used the cutouts to make cards for Veteran’s for Make A Differnce Day! The Veteran’s were given plates with goodies and adorable Halloween cards! Thanks a bunch 3rd graders for helping to put a smile on a Veteran’s face ❤️🤍💙 🇺🇸

Recently the VFW Auxiliary released the winners of the Patriotic Essays. The winners will be invited to attend The Loyalty Day Awards Banquet to read their essays and receive their awards. Due to the number of participants, we were allowed to send first and second place winners both to District competition.

Patriot's Pen Essay winners are:

Jordyne Zeisler, 3rd place
Voice of Democracy Patriotic Essay winners:
Moriah Swift, 1st place
Emma Kellen, 2nd place

The Burke VFW Auxiliary sponsored 2 golf carts at the SDState Fair. These carts r used to give people rides around the fairgrounds.

Veteran Dale Reber drove the ladies through.
3 other Auxiliary members rode with 2 members, Tammy and Georgia for FCCLA recognition for placing 1st at national FCCLA convention; Quentin, Paige and Olivia Bull.

3 members of VFW Auxiliary Post #9950 went to the National FCCLA conference, our Auxiliary donated $100 to each person, and they placed FIRST! Congratulations Olivia, Paige and Quinten!
