Jah Blu and Kareem 'The Servant' Call For More Community Sports And Entertainment Events To Unearth Talents
Jah Blu, a popular musician, hairdresser and powerlifter born and bred in Chorkor has called for frequent entertainment and sporting events in the communities to unearth talents for the nation.
Speaking on 'The Big Fight Night' on Omashi TV, he said the underground artists and rising sports stars would certainly become the next super stars of the nation and represent Ghana internationally.
He noted that young stars need education and parental attention as well as societal support and protection.
Jah Blu who defeated Kareen last Thursday in a community powerlifting challenge said leaders must be creative, innovative and positive in directing the youth.
Abdella Kareem Gunu popularly known as 'The Servant', a Dagomba born in Teshie lived in Ga Mashie is a forex businessman who lost in the bench press and shoulder press challenge agreed that discovering talent at a tender age and groomed to become a champion is very essential. He accepted defeat in good faith calling for a rematch.
Blu did better in the dead lift contest in the show that attracted a sizeable crowd to the York 250 Gym
"I know Ghana has massive talent and skilful guys in entertainment and sports but they are not motivated enough, it is not too late to do something" Kareem said.

He noted that it is not only white collar jobs that make people but talent and skill can turn ordinary people into tycoons and super stars.
The two boxing fans were sad it has taken a long time for Ghana to get a world champion.
Karen is optimistic about Jonathan Tetteh aka Worldwide and Derrick Quaye aka Show Love becoming next international heroes.
"Worldwide saved me before so I love him very much and he knows the game well" said Kareem.
Jah Blu also enjoys the styles of Michael Abban 'The Black Spider' and Alfred Lamptey aka 'Show Time'. He thinks Worldwide will beat Freezy Macbones again in a return match.anywhere.
They added their voices to boxing fans comportment at the Bukom Boxing Arena and appealed to the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) to hasten the election of new leaders.
On the 2026 FIFA World Cup, both Jah Blu and The Servant both said there is not much hope in the Ghana Black Stars, but they will thrill and shine. Some players to watch are Ernest Nuamah, Caleb Yirenkyi, Marvin Senaya, Augustine Boakye and Antoine Semenyo.
Ghana has 15 debutants including Benjamin Asare who is loved by his Korle Gonno community.
