⚫️ WELCOME HOME, AUSTIN GIVENS! ⚫️

We are excited to announce that Blacksox alumnus **Austin Givens** is returning to the program to coach in our youth program!

Austin played four seasons with the Burkburnett Blacksox from 2010-2013 before continuing his playing career at Frank Phillips College from 2014-2016 after graduating from Decatur High School. After his playing days, he returned to the Blacksox dugout, coaching our 16U and 17U teams during the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

A graduate of Midwestern State University with a degree in Criminal Justice, Austin understands the importance of discipline, accountability, teamwork, and perseverance. More importantly, he is passionate about using baseball to help develop young men of character.

Austin was an exceptional player, but an even better person. His passion for the game and commitment to investing in others make him a tremendous addition to our staff. We are fortunate to welcome him back to the Blacksox family and look forward to the impact he will have on the next generation of players.

Welcome home, Austin! ⚾️
