Burkburnett Meals on Wheels Our mission is to promote the nutrition, health, and social well being of each participant and to improve their quality of life.

The Senior Citizens Center was incorporated in May of 1979. It is governed by a Board of Directors which is made up of local citizens of Burkburnett. It does offer social activities such as cards, dominoes, board games, crafting and quilting. Since inception the Center is the local provider of the Burkburnett Meals on Wheels Program. It's Mission/ Purpose is to promote the nutrition, health and so

cial well being of each participant and to improve their quality of life. As a 501 (c) 3 organization it does receive some funding to offset the cost of the Meals on Wheels Program. But it is the love, volunteers and financial contributions of the Burkburnett people that keep the program running. Without the help of volunteers, the center would not be able to participate in the Meals on Wheels program. Please consider this as an invitation to either participate in the noon lunches or be a volunteer for a very worthwhile organization. We Love Our Seniors is an ongoing Fundraising opportunity available to anyone who would like to sponsor / defray the cost of a home bound citizen's meal.

Tues., May 12: Beef soft taco, Spanish rice, broccoli, mandarin oranges w/ whipped
topping.

Wed., May 13: Pork roast, sweet potatoes, succotash, roll, banana pudding.

Thurs., May 14: Beef tips and noodles, vegetable medley, corn, roll, chocolate
cake.

Fri., May 15: Turkey pot pie, salad, roll, ambrosia
