Santa made one more visit to Burien last night to hand out candy canes and be available for photos with families attending the Highline Area Food Bank's December evening distribution!
Children (as well as children at heart!) loved to visit and take their photo with the man in red himself ❤️

THANK YOU to our community and our sponsors! With your help we were able to have our biggest year EVER, and not by a small amount!

This year's event blew all our old records out of the water!

For the 2025 event:
🥫You raised 1,400 lbs of physical donations! That's DOUBLE our old record!

💰You raised $1,075 in cash donations AND an additional $2,085 in digital donations were made to the food bank yesterday! That's $1,000 more than our old record!

🎅📷 We photographed 165 groups, which is 36 more than our old record!

Our amazing volunteer photographer is working on your photos, so give her a follow to know as soon as the photos are ready (usually ~1 week) and watch the email address you used at the sign in table, we'll send the info there as well.

All raffle winners have been contacted, so check your voicemail and email...

We are beyond amazed, thankful, and so proud to call this community home.
We are already brainstorming ways to make the event even better next year, so make sure you are following us to stay in the loop, and we hope you have a wonderful, magical holiday season!

SANTA CLAUS COMING TO B-TOWN!

Santa looooves cookies! 🎅💕🍪

During the event, Santa will take a short cookie break from 1-130 during which time we will hold our line. We will have chairs inside for those waiting, as well as heaters for anyone waiting outside.

You're always welcome to step in and check out our raffle table while you wait, and we will have a coloring activity to help keep the kids happy and busy during the wait, too!

Our event is less than 2 weeks away! ✨️🎅📷
Here's the the lowdown on donations:

1. Physical donations that are most helpful to the Highline Area Food Bank are non-perishable foods (canned goods, box meals) and hygiene items (soap, shampoo, menstrual products).

2. Monetary donations allow the food bank to purchase goods at wholesale prices, as well as fill gaps in their offerings. Because of this, monetary donations are the most powerful donations we can make, so we will have raffle tickets this year with 100% of ticket sales donated to the food bank, and prizes featuring Burien favorites like and more!

3. No donation is too big or too small! Give what you are able, and together we will help our community!

4. Not into the holidays but still want to help? No problem! Any and everyone is welcome to drop donations by during our open hours and/or participate in our raffle.

Tell your friends, family, and neighbors to help us spread the word and we will see you there.

Only 3 weeks until Santa arrives at the Tin Theater, so here is what you need to know:

🥫Bring non-perishable foods, hygiene items, or a monetary donation for the and you will get a FREE professional photo with Santa in thanks! No donation is too big or too small!

🎟We will also have raffle tickets available for purchase, with 100% of ticket sales benefitting the food bank. Our prizes will feature local small businesses in Burien!

🍪Santa will take a short cookie break from 1-130, but he'll hurry back as soon as possible!

🎅Santa loves spending time making sure your family's visit is special! Because of this, our line can grow long at peak times and extend out the door, so please plan accordingly with warm coats in case of winter weather.
