We're just about 24 hours from the start of tomorrow's open house!

A lot of major scenery projects on the layout are coming to a stopping point today, and I'm resisting the urge to post photos of them here until after we open. Come be among the first to see them!

Also, we had a busy summer.

Nearly all of it was based around the brand new, concrete flooring that we had. We had to basically completely empty the room of anything that was on the floor, do the paving, then bring everything back. It gave us a great excuse to actually sort through the decades of stuff we've been sitting on, plus now the layout is permanently cemented to the floor.

We are still working on getting everything sorted, but we've been able to operate, and should be back to fabulous by our open house next month.

WE HAVE AN OPEN HOUSE SEPTEMBER 12TH!

We will be open on Saturday, September 12, from noon until *probably* midnight, to support the City of Burien with the annual Arts-a-Glow festival!

The Pacific Northwest Railroad Archive will also be open in the evening, as they have a different scheduled event happening during the day.

Come see:
Trains!
The new floor!
Trains!
Byron!
I think there will also be some trains as well.

See you there!

Hi everyone,

I promise we're still alive - truth is I just haven't had any good pictures to use in these posts! I'll have a wave of announcements and information coming up in the next few days! Stay tuned!
