Our first community education event was a success! 🪱 Thank you to our volunteers T and Kay who taught an amazing vermicomposting class up at Transform Burien with us yesterday! Thank you Transform for hosting us, our worm supplier John, and Nature’s Footprint for the worm bins!

Join us Wednesday, June 3 from 4 - 6 p.m. to turn kitchen scraps into vermicompost for your garden! Hosted by Highline Area Food Bank, in partnership with King County Solid Waste Division , the City of Burien, and Transform Burien, and starter kits provided by Natures Footprint. No registration required.

Thank you for all of your donations. Compared to last year, where we received approx 3,000-4,000, we find ourselves still picking up more stragglers from the weekend !
