Join us on Saturday, August 22 at 1pm for a workshop on 4Culture's Collections Care grant. The Collections Care grant program supports the work of King County non-profit organizations and Tribes to preserve culturally and/or historically significant heritage materials. With requests ranging from $2,000 to $15,000, this grant may be used to fund work in archives, historical repositories, and/or for collections that preserve/perpetuate living cultural practices. The application deadline is September 23 at 5pm.

The August 22 workshop will be followed by open office hours, giving you the chance to ask 4Culture staff about your collection and application. Spanish language interpretation will be provided for both the workshop and office hours. We ask that you please register in advance (link in bio).

This free program presents an evening of true stories told by members of our community on a given theme. There are 7 storytellers and 7 real stories, @ 7 minutes each.

7 Stories is planned for the fourth Friday of each month at 7:00 PM as a public event at the Highline Heritage Museum, 819 SW 152nd Street, Burien.

For Arts-A-Glow, the Highline Heritage Museum will be turning into a Mystical Forest!!

There will be performances in the parking lot and glowing activities and photo backdrops inside!!
