Clinton Lodge will host our annual Sweetheart Banquet on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. Dinner and Service award presentations will be held at the Burden City Building. Meat dishes will be furnished by the Lodge. Please bring a side dish to be shared. please RSVP by Feb. 10th for a head count! Hope to see everyone there!

Queen City Chapter #138 Order of the Eastern Star will host an Honor Night for Masons and their Spouses/Guests on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. A covered Dish Dinner will be served at 6:00P.M. Stated meeting will start at 7:30P.M. and all Eastern Star Members are invited to stay. Dinner will be held at Winfield Masonic Lodge located at 106 E. 8th street. RSVP for head count only by Feb. 18th 2022. Hope to see everyone there!

Our December 24th meeting has been canceled due to it being Christmas eve. At our last stated meeting that was election of officers, we voted to retain the current officers in their current positions. Clinton Lodge would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year!

For all the ones that have not set up your OLP apps , I would like to invite you all back into our Lodge hall ! Meetings will be conducted a little different with the reading of the last stated meeting being dropped to give us more time for doing buissiness and such. With only 35 members left in our small lodge, we need every member possible to attend meetings and make the decissions that need to be made to help our community. Also as of 12/31/2020 there are a few unpaid dues that will result in suspension if not caught up asap! Our next meeting will be on January 14, 2021 starting with dinner at 6:30 pm at the city building and meeting at 7:30 pm. Please plan on attending this very important meeting.

As we try to get back into the swing of our Lodges being closed since Feb. 2020 from the pandemic, most Lodges are struggling to get their members back in attendance. Clinton Lodge #233 is no different, but with the added affect that we only have 36 Master Masons left on our roster, 9 of which are 50 yr. members, is leaving our tiny Lodge in a bit of a crunch. Having enough people to show up for a buisiness meeting has been extremely tough. Bylaws say we have to have 5 Master Masons to open a Lodge. As secretary I am supposed to be sending out dues notices this month with only half of the dues paid in this year, so if you get your notice in the mail and you are in arrears this is the time to get cought up to date! As we are winding down 2020 please remember that we need members to come to Lodge if we are going to keep the doors open and help our community prosper!

THE OLD MASTER'S WAGES
I met a dear old man today,
Who wore a Masonic pin,

I approached the park bench where he sat,
To give the old brother his due,
I said, "I see you've traveled east,"
He said, "I have, have you."
I said, "I have, and in my day

The word, the sign the token,
The sweet Masonic prayer,
