Continually advance the profession of birthwork by providing advocacy for reproductive/birthing justice; a nurturing community of peer collaboration; educational opportunities for doulas and the public; and a bridge between the public and our members We are the first organization designed to meet the needs of both birth and postpartum doulas. From the beginning, DASC has offered doulas companionship, education, networking, and professional affiliation. Together we can bring awareness to our communities that doula care changes lives. It was hot, but it was worth it. Another climb in the books for DASC! This year, by partnering with other amazing perinatal health providers, we were able to exceed our fundraising goals and raise over $3800 for perinatal mental health! And the best news? Donations can still be made through the end of the month. So check out the link in our bio to donate today. The days may be getting shorter, but the babies keep coming. 👶🏻👶🏽👶🏾 We hope to see you this Saturday for our sea level PSI's The Climb fundraiser. We’d also love for you to join us at one of our circle meetings across LA and a lil of the OC, with a new meeting in Costa Mesa. All doulas and birth workers, even non-DASC members, are always welcome. For members, this month we have a bereavement training for you to learn how to support clients through loss. See you soon.
