The Endangered History Project, Inc.

The Endangered History Project, Inc. will vanish in the wind. There are no paid board members or employees. However there are dozens of people who want to do their part to preserve threatened media.

If we don't preserve the various forms of media that represent the 20th and 21st Centuries, these important memories, photos, films, videos, documents, diaries, etc. Just about everybody has or knows of photographs, films, videos, documents, manuscripts, diaries or other forms of media that will vanish when the owners pass away. The Endangered History Project, Inc., exists to encourage and train anyone who is inspired to make media available for future generations.

My wonderful friend Jasmine Sandhawalia wrote this eye-opening story.
This message is for her:

“Jasmine, you were my student so many years ago. I’m proud to have been your investigative journalism teacher. All these years later, you are teaching me about an historical tragedy about which I had known so little.

“And all of these years later, I’m more embarrassed that, only recently, I’ve come to learn how poisonous colonialism has been to so many millions of people.

We Americans are so tragically and embarrassingly ignorant!”
