On June 3, 2026, Burbank Housing Corporation (BHC) celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Burbank Veterans Bungalows, a permanent supportive housing community that has helped formerly homeless veterans rebuild their lives since 2016. The development is home to 11 veterans and partners with New Directions for Veterans to provide ongoing support services.

The celebration began with a ceremonial Honor Guard march by Burbank Troop 209 and welcomed key supporters, including BHC staff and Board members, City officials, community partners, and veterans. BHC also received certificates of recognition from the offices of Assemblymember Nick Schultz, State Senator Caroline Menjivar, and Supervisor Kathryn Barger in recognition of the development's impact over the past decade.

This month, BHC held a special celebration to commemorate our permanent supportive housing project that has housed formerly homeless veterans since 2016. For a decade, this community has provided a place to call home for those who served our country and supportive services through a partnership with New Directions for Veterans.
