Let’s get real, your first therapy session might feel a little awkward.
1. You might not know what to say.
2. You might second-guess yourself.
3. You might even wonder if it’s “working.”
All of that is normal.
The first few sessions can feel a little awkward, uncertain, or even emotionally mixed. That doesn’t mean it’s not working; it usually means you’re just getting started.
Therapy is a process. You’re building trust, figuring out your goals, and learning what this space can be for you.
