We’re excited to introduce our 2026–2027 California Bears 8U Coaching Staff! This group will help lead our youngest Bears through the early stages of development, building fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.

8U is where the journey begins, and we’re ready to cheer on all the fun, growth, and big moments ahead!

📍 Founded in 1964, the Bears are one of the oldest continuously operating youth hockey clubs in the state.

From a single sheet of ice in Burbank to a club producing champions at every level, the Bears have spent six decades proving that tradition isn’t something you inherit… it’s something you build.

Today’s success — the titles, the development, the culture — is proof of the relentless pursuit of growth and development which started over 60 years ago by families, coaches, and players who believed in something bigger.

The tradition continues.
The standard rises.

The California Bears are proud to announce that our club teams have officially been invited to compete in the prestigious Florida Premier Invite powered by Exposure Hockey! 🌴🏒

This elite event will bring together top youth hockey organizations from across the United States and Canada, providing our players with an incredible opportunity to compete at a high level, gain exposure, and create unforgettable memories.

📍 Fort Lauderdale & West Palm Beach, FL

📅 December 3–6, 2026

The Bears continue to push forward as one of California’s premier development programs, giving our athletes opportunities to compete on some of the biggest stages in youth hockey.

We can’t wait to represent California in Florida! 🔥🐻
