THE PREP SCHOOL PATHWAY — IN ACTION

At California Bears Hockey, player development extends beyond the ice. One of the unique benefits of our program is helping players explore prep-school opportunities by connecting them directly with coaches—and bringing those coaches to the rink to see our players compete.

During the 16u AA recent trip to Boston this past weekend, Bears player Nick Bobolia had the amazing opportunity to speak with Coach Peter Gintoli of Tabor Academy.

These face-to-face conversations give our players an opportunity to learn about prep-school hockey, build meaningful relationships, and understand what it takes to advance academically and athletically.

While we reference the next level, we also help create the connections that can lead there.

Develop, Connect and Advance!

🐻 14U AA LABOR DAY CHAMPS🏆

Our 14U AA Bears opened the Tinseltown Labor Day Tournament by finishing round-robin play with one regulation win and two overtime victories!

They carried that momentum into the semifinal, earning an impressive 6–2 win and advancing to the championship game.

Then, right on cue, they delivered another unforgettable finish! Trailing 3–0 entering the third period, they battled all the way back and scored with just 37 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.

In OT, they completed the comeback and captured the championship! What a display of heart, resilience and determination—and what a way to start the season!

Congratulations to our 14U AA Tinseltown Labor Day Champions! 🏆🐻
