✨🎉What a night! 🎉✨

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate "The Power of Community" at this year's Celebration of Schools event.

From the incredible performances by BUSD students to the delicious food prepared by our Culinary Arts programs, the evening was a true reflection of what makes Burbank schools so special. Congratulations to all the School Site Champions, who were recognized for their hard work, and a huge congratulations to BAEF's 2026 Champion of Education, Dr. Roberta Reynolds, for her outstanding commitment to Burbank students!

Thank you as well to the BUSD teachers, administrators, and staff who joined us to represent just a few of the grants BAEF has awarded to Burbank schools. Seeing firsthand how that support comes to life in classrooms across the district is what this night is all about.

None of this would be possible without our neighbors, families, educators, local businesses, sponsors, and donors who continue to show up for Burbank students year after year. Because of you, BAEF can keep funding the grants and programs that give our students opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.

This is the one night of the year when our community comes together to celebrate what "The Power of Community" really means for BUSD schools. Good food, live music, and a room full of people who believe in Burbank's students!

What to Know:
📅 Wednesday, September 30
⏰ 6pm Main Program Begins
📍 Redlands University, Los Angeles (formerly Woodbury University)
🎟 Open to the public. $35 for currently enrolled students, $55 for general admission in advance.
🌟 Proceeds support BAEF, and a portion of each ticket is tax-deductible.

What to Expect:
🍽 Food prepared by BUSD Culinary Arts students
🎶 Live musical performances from BUSD students
🏆 Awards honoring BUSD educators and BAEF's 2026 Champion of Education

🔬📚🌎 BAEF's 2026 Fall Grant Applications Are Open, and There's Still Time to Apply!

The September 25th deadline is coming up, but you still have time to put together an application. Burbank Arts & Education Foundation offers individual grants up to $5,000 to BUSD administrators, teachers, staff members, and more.

If you've been meaning to apply but haven't gotten to it yet, now's the moment. Grants can help fund a program, project, or learning environment you've been wanting to bring to life.

Past grants have supported:
• Professional development for teachers
• STEM materials and technology upgrades
• Dramatic play and stagecraft equipment
• Classroom libraries and literacy tools
• Art supplies and photo/video equipment
• Culinary arts equipment and lunch tables
• Musical instruments and audio equipment

Burbank Arts & Education Foundation is offering individual grants up to $5,000 to BUSD administrators, teachers, staff members, and more.

Do you need funding to bring your special program, project, or learning environment to life? This is your chance to make it happen!

We're celebrating the start of a new school year and everyone who makes it possible: teachers who have worked hard preparing their classrooms, students beginning a new grade, and parents keeping schedules, supplies, and everything else on track.

At Burbank Arts & Education Foundation, we believe every student deserves access to the arts and enriched learning opportunities that make a lasting impact. This year, we're proud to continue supporting Burbank schools so students have the resources they need to thrive.
