HUGE Thank you to Diane Stewart Romeo and her family! Today, Diane and Lisa stopped by with a check totaling a whopping $12,607! The Annual Walk Without Silence implements more than a day of fun. It represents the community’s dedication to fight the battle of Domestic Violence for the voiceless, recognition to the survivors who are turning tribulations to trailblazing triumphs, and unifies the message of Flagler County supporting survivors and that a survivors voice has value. No one should walk this journey alone and in silence. You are not alone, we will walk this journey with you. The proceeds donated to Family Life Center will support domestic violence survivors residing in Flagler County.

Flagler County Sheriff's Office, Flagler Beach Police Department joined Family Life Center at the City of Palm Coast Council meeting this morning. The City proclaimed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We appreciate the continued support from our community for survivors of domestic violence.

Statistics show it takes a person 7 times to leave an abusive relationship. Do not ask someone why they don’t just leave. Ask them what are the reasons forcing them to stay. Provide resources. If you are experiencing domestic violence, call or text our 24/7 Helpline 386-437-3505.
