George Washington Carver Community Center The George Washington Carver Community Center is based at the Bunkie Middle School site, 205 South Cottonwood St., Bunkie, LA.

Goal: Our organization was formed in 2013 with a singular purpose in mind: acquiring the cafeteria of the former Colored-Carver High/Bunkie Middle School from the Avoyelles Parish School Board and transforming it into a viable, multipurpose community center.

• Having recently acquired our tax exempt 501c3 status, we are ready to start “thinking BIG” in our fundraising efforts.

• We are activ

ely seeking contributions from organizations and individuals. All donations are tax deductible; all donors will receive a receipt documenting donations for tax purposes. Contact us or view past postings for more information.

• It is our sincerest hope that in July 2018 a portion of Bunkie Colored-Carver High School Reunion activities will be held at HOME on Cottonwood St.
