What can a $1 greeting card do?

For the Crystal Card Project, thousands of them have added up to more than $140,000 for My Sisters’ Place, Catholic Charities’ domestic violence shelter.

Since 2017, Charlene Petragallo and a dedicated group of volunteers have collected used greeting cards, transformed them into beautiful new creations and sold them to support survivors of domestic violence and their children.

It’s a community effort built one card at a time—and proof that small acts of generosity can grow into something much bigger.

Domestic violence affects thousands of Arizonans each year. My Sisters' Place offers a safe place to turn during times of crisis, helping survivors access resources, regain stability, and begin rebuilding their lives.

We are so grateful to be included in Exceptional Community Hospitals 50 Days of Giving! These items so a long way in providing dignity for the guests here at the Center for Help & Hope. Thank you Exceptional Community Hospital!

Today’s stop was all about providing a little comfort and care where it’s needed most. We dropped off baskets filled with hygiene and personal-care essentials to Catholic Charities Community Services.

Sometimes the things we use every day without a second thought can make a huge difference for someone going through a difficult season. We’re grateful to have organizations in our community providing resources, support and a helping hand to our neighbors when they need it most.

We were happy to help stock some of those everyday essentials and support the work they’re doing right here in Bullhead City. ❤️
