Good evening Aux and Post Members!
The Auxiliary has adopted a small veteran family for Christmas: newly single 24 yo dad with a 2 yo son. He is working with several local agencies for employment and housing support, but lack of childcare is a limiting factor. He also has no transportation and takes the bus. Several items have been purchased, but could still use some on their wish list. If anyone wishes to help, please bring items to the Post no later than Sunday, or call me to make other arrangements.
Needs:
*grocery food gift cards
* Showerhead
* toddler size 3T clothing
* adult 2xl shirt/ 46x 32 pants
* toys: octonauts, balls, race car, mega blocks, anything Spongebob

THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS 🎁 🎄 🎁 BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER!

Tomorrow, December 3rd at 10am VFW Post 10005 will hold their Annual Christmas Decorating Event!
Santa's helpers are needed to lend a hand as we usher in this year's Yule tide spirit, trimming our Post with Christmas decor.
Entertainment Committee Chairperson Sandy Butler will be there in the morning to greet you. Volunteering some of your time to help is sincerely appreciated.

Tomorrow (11-30-25) starting @ 2pm , VFW Post 10005 will host the 4th Annual Allan Butler Chili Cookoff, a competition between the members of the 10005 and 404. Always a good time.
Come out and support the Post. Have some delicious chili, some drinks, as we remember and pay tribute to 2022 VFW Post 10005 Commander Allan Butler. Let's bring the trophy home. Good luck to all 10 contestants!
