Troop 366 attended Camp Rockefeller Summer Camp this past week! Scouts participated in a wide variety of activities, merit badges, and educational programs. They gained valuable skills in areas such as cooking, first aid, emergency preparedness, aquatics (including small boat sailing, canoeing, and kayaking), and shooting sports, such as r***e shooting.
All Scouts who attended also earned the Liberty in Action Award. As part of the requirements, they completed a service project by improving and cleaning their campsite. The Scouts raked leaves, removed fallen limbs, and helped fill in dirt and rocks at the entrance to the shower and restroom area, creating a safer walking surface and eliminating a potential tripping hazard.
In addition to their merit badge achievements and service work, several Scouts challenged themselves by participating in the Mile Swim and successfully earned the Mile Swim Award.
Camp Rockefeller provided an outstanding opportunity for our Scouts to develop new skills, demonstrate leadership, build confidence, and learn valuable lessons they will carry with them throughout their lives.
Scouting continues to shape these young men & women into capable, confident, and service-minded leaders. The experiences and achievements from Camp Rockefeller are a direct reflection of their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to living out the Scout Oath and Law. We are incredibly proud of Troop 366 and grateful for the leaders, families, and supporters who make opportunities like this possible.
