At the VFW in Bull Shoals we believe in tradition. 4th of July is one of those. So are our $1 Hot Dogs and $1.50 Root Beer Floats on the 4th. Why not? In the hall, after the parade. We start feedin' at noonish. BTW I love me some root beer float. Good music, good food, good folks. It ain't more Small Town American than that.

We could use a little help this year. Do you feel like volunteering? Need a couple of folks to judge the floats. Help in the kitchen. How about riding on our float. Help the kids play games. Celebrate America's great big 250th Birthday at the VFW. We will decorate the hall on Thursday July 2nd starting at noon. Call us at 870 445 4501. We believe in having fun.

Let's have a parade!! Got a nice car, beautiful boat or want to create a float. Come and join in on the fun in Bull Shoals on Saturday July 4 at 11 am. That is when the parade starts at Marylin Ave and 178. Line starts at 10:30. Then follow the parade to the VFW and enjoy the fun. Float Contest. 1st $100. 2nd 2 free walleye dinners. 3rd 2 free Thursday lunches.

What to drink on America's 250th Birthday. How about an old fashioned way with a ROOTBEER FLOAT for only $1.50. Where else but at the VFW Happy Birthday America and family picnic. In our air conditioned hall. And if it rains you don't get wet. How about a $1 hot dog to go with it? On Saturday July 4th right after the parade in the hall at VFW 1341 ( the building with the helicopter). 1206 Central Blvd, Bull Shoals ar. Serving food from noon to 4.

What in tarnation is a meatball sundae? It is pretty dang good. A scoop of mashed taters, 3 meatballs in a cup covered with brown gravy. Are you interested. Come to the 4th of July celebration at the VFW in Bull Shoals on Saturday July 4th. Serving food from noon to 4. Kind of like the picture, but better. BTW there is a parade at 11.

HAPPY 250TH BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!

Come celebrate the 4th of July in Bull Shoals AR. The VFW is having its 8th Annual 4th of July Celebration and Parade on Saturday July 4. Parade starts at 11 at 178 and Marion Ave. (by the RV park. Line up at 10:30. The parade rolls down 178 to the VFW (easy to find we have a helicopter) There will be prizes for the best float $100 for 1st, 2 walleye dinners for 2nd and 2 lunches for third.
Everyone is welcome to come. There will be music, in the hall, starting at noon. This years entertainment will be Charlie Askew. Charlie was on American Idol in 2013. You may have seen him at the Piano Bar in Mountain Home. Music starts at noon in the Hall.
Food will be $1 hot dogs, $3 brats, $3 meatball sundaes, $7 half pound burgers. Potato or macaroni salad $2. $1.50 Root Beer Floats, $1 soda and bottled water. $2 Gatorade. Adult beverages can be purchased in the canteen.
