Just a quick post to announce our "Happy Turkey Day" fund raiser.
They'll be ready just before Thanksgiving. Last year they were absolutely delicious. I know. I picked up two and the family loved them.

Thanks to the generosity of the folks of Bull Shoals and Lake View, the Bull Shoals Police Auxiliary was finally able to purchase an AED unit. At a cost of about $2,000, this unit will be carried on patrol by an on duty officer and will provide a potential "Heart Start" and second chance in life for someone in need..........Rick Wheeler

Bull Shoals police cars are now equipped with first aid kits able to treat a variety of injuries.

The Bull Shoals Police Auxiliary was able to provide needed help again. It came to our attention that none of the patrol cars in Bull Shoals were equipped with an emergency first aid kit. So, as first responders, our officers weren't equipped to provide proper first aid if the need arose. Now they can. We were also able to purchase a tactical tourniquet and belt pouch. Just a quick note for our supporters in Lake View. We made the same offer to your officers, but they already have these items.
