Buladean Community Foundation BULADEAN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

September 18, 2012 the Buladean Community Foundation formed and began
the work necessary to give new life to the closed historic elementary school. Renaming the building the "Magnetic Center of Buladean", the board hopes
Mitchell County government will see fit to return it to the people, so that they
may have the opportunity to work toward its development into a center of activity
in this mountain community.

Representatives from Samaritan's Purse will be at the Buladean Community Center on January 8th from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. They will provide assistance for storm-related urgent needs, including furniture, appliances, and other household items. They will also be available to answer your questions. Please bring any photos of the damage and any estimates you have received.

Cases of bottled water are available at the center, with a variety of options to choose from. Please feel free to take as much as you want—and consider sharing with your neighbors, road workers, or anyone else who might appreciate it. The water is stored under the tarps at the back of the building. The center does not need to be open for you to pick up. Thank you!

The Buladean Community Center will be open from 1–6 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays throughout January, weather permitting.

Stop by to stock up on hand sanitizer as cold and flu season is here. While you're there, pick up extra blankets, warm socks, hats, and gloves to stay cozy this winter.

Please grab a case—or even twenty—of water from the back of the building. The more the better!

Volunteers are needed.
