We’re excited to offer a Child and Babysitting Safety course designed to help teens and young adults feel confident, capable, and ready to care for little ones. Participants will learn how to start their own babysitting business, communicate with parents and kids, handle real-life care giving situations, and create a safe environment for children.

Buhler Recreation is now accepting volunteer applications, including applications for a vacant Recreation Commission Board position. This is a great opportunity to help guide the future of recreation in our community.

Board members are expected to attend regular meetings, must live within Buhler city limits, and receive a complimentary family membership to the Wellness Center during their term. Applications for the board position will be accepted through the end of February.

Even if board service isn’t the right fit, we’d still love to hear from you — our new volunteer application is a great way to get involved, and we’re happy to help point you toward other ways to serve in the community.
