The Sipsey cluster showed up big at MERGE Tuscaloosa!!! There were sponsors and student leaders from SVMS and SVHS along with potential new chapters from Buhl, Myrtlewood, and Westwood!

Come learn more about Project Outreach and how you can start a chapter. If you do have a chapter, come learn from others and snag ideas. It’s a great time to spend around people with the same mindset and heart as you!

This is the yearly Project Outreach conference and it’s coming to TUSCALOOSA this year!! Anyone is welcome to come. If you’re curious about Project Outreach (what it is, who it involves, how to start), please plan to come. It’s ONE DAY ONLY in Tuscaloosa. Student members, past and present, please try to come. We want to show up big for the first MERGE conference in T-Town! Mark your calendars - JULY 13 ✨

Slides from today’s presentations 🩷 “to be loved is to be seen” and we truly think our leaders see the ASPIRE students for who they are beyond their disabilities. That is true love and friendship!

Today, Project Outreach leaders had the chance to go into classrooms and present about their experiences and what Project Outreach means to them. This group has been with us for 3 years, and their hearts and passion for their friends with disabilities is encouraging. This group will truly be missed, but their impact will go on. They truly encompass the motto: “More Alike than Different.”
